www.unri.ac.id – In connection with the 70th Independence Day Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) on 17 August 2015, the Chancellor of the University of Riau (UR), Prof. Dr. Ir Aras Mulyadi DEA conveyed the implementation of the ceremony The event will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 in an open field in front of the UR Faculty of Agriculture Campus.
In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, various agendas of activities were held. In addition to the ceremony, including the submission of new students for the 2015/2016 Academic Year from the University to the Dean of the Faculty at UR.
The number of students submitted to the Faculty from the University amounted to approximately 7000 new students, spread from various faculties, namely the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (Faperika), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Faculty of Law and Faculty of Medicine.
In addition to the submission of new students, the series of activities in the ceremony also gave awards to outstanding employees and lecturers, both at the University level and at the National level.
Not only that, the other agenda is the holding of various competitions and accompanied by musical entertainment, such as quizzes, agility competitions, other people's game competitions, and other competitions.
