URNews . Tuesday (15/8), the Chancellor of the University of Riau (UR) Prof. Dr. Ir Aras Mulyadi DEA inaugurated officials in the UR environment. The inaugurated officials were Dr. Firdaus SH MH as Dean of the Faculty of Law (FH) UR for the 2017-2021 period, and Dr. Yusmarini SPt MP as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Muhammad Mardhiansyah SHut MSc as Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, and Ir Ardian MS as Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Cooperation and Alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UR, Prof. Dr. Ir Aras Mulyadi DEA, said that the UR Law Faculty could become better and be able to take part, and play a role in the legal field on a national scale. “Currently, the Indonesian state has a lot of polemics in the field of law. There are so many polemics in the field of law, so we hope that the Faculty of Law, University of Riau, can take part in this field of law nationally.”

In addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Law, the mandate of the position was also conveyed by the Rector of UR to the newly inaugurated Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (FP). “I hope that the Deputy Dean of FP, who has just been appointed, can continue the programs that have been formulated in the previous period. Moreover, recently, UR has also appointed a new Dean of FP. Hopefully the Dean and Deputy Dean of FP UR can synergize with each other in advancing FP in the future.”
