Glancing at Efforts in Improving Reasoning, Searching for Interests and Talents, Arts and Sports of Students Through Mass Gymnastics

unri.ac.id To rebuild the spirit and unite the hearts of all new students of the 2019 batch, the Student Affairs Division of the University of Riau (Unri) held a mass gymnastics activity in the context of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) in the open space of the Bina Widya Unri Campus.

The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Iwantono Mphil, while at the Bina Widya Unri Campus, Tuesday (6/8/2019), revealed that this mass gymnastics activity was aimed at uniting the hearts and knit togetherness of new students at the Unri PKKMB event.

"This exercise aims to unite us before carrying out activities organized by the Unri Student Affairs Division which will also include activities to introduce Unri institutions or organizations, so that later we are ready to resume activities," he said.

Furthermore, Iwantono, conveyed that the PKKMB activity which was carried out for two days from 5-6 August 2019, also refreshed the atmosphere and students' minds where the previous day had held a public lecture.

This mass gymnastics activity was attended by the entire Cabinet from the Student Executive Board (BEM), as well as committees, staff at the Unri student body who were assistants to PKKMB activities in activities.

“Today, student activities are filled with relaxed activities but must prioritize benefits. Apart from having recreational activities, I hope there will be serious ones so that they are balanced,” said the Professor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA).

PKKMB activities are still filled with main activities. Namely reasoning, the search for interests and talents, arts and sports.
