www.unri.ac.id – Memperingati Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, Rektor Universitas Riau (UR) Prof Dr Ir H Aras Mulyadi DEA dalam sambutannya mengajak seluruh Civitas Akademika agar bisa meniru akhlak Rasulullah sebagai patokan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam bekerja.
“Marilah kita sama-sama menjadikan Rasulullah sebagai suri tauladan dalam beraktivitas. Rasulullah memiliki sifat amanah, maka dari itu marilah kita jalankan amanah yang telah diberikan kepada kita, sebagaimana sifat amanah yang telah diwariskan oleh Rasulullah kepada kita,” ajak Rektor.
Sementara Dr Muhammad Fahri, Ustadz yang memberikan ceramah dalam peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW yang diselenggarakan di Mushalla Assiraj, Jumat (9/1) ini agar Umat Muslim tidak hanya berteori dalam mengajak orang berbuat baik.
“Sekarang zaman banyak teori, kita suruh anak shalat tapi kita sendiri tidak shalat. Kalau kita ingin anak kita berperilaku baik, maka kita sebagai orang tua harus berbuat baik. Maka berdedomanlah kepada Rasulullah, Rasul nyuruh sabar, maka Rasul sendiri yang mencontohkan perilaku sabar,” jelasnya.

In order to celebrate the mawlid of the Prophet Muhammad, Rector of the University of Riau (UR) Prof Dr Ir H Aras Mulyadi DEA in his speech, invites all participants to be able to mimic the morals of the Prophet as a rolemodel in everyday life, especially in the work. “Let us together make the Prophet as a role model in life. Prophet has a trustful nature, therefore let us run the trust that has been given to us, as the nature of the trust that has been passed by the Prophet on us,” Rector said.
Dr Muhammad Fahri, Ustadz which gives his preach in Mushalla Assiraj, Friday (9/1) reminded that Muslims do not just theorize in getting people to do good. “Nowadays, people just give their theories, we ask our child to pray but we do not pray at all. If we want our children to behave well, then we as parents need to do good. So, make the Prophet Muhammad as our role model, Muhammad asked us to be patient, himself who gave exemple how being a patient person, “he explained.
