This was conveyed by the Rector of Unri, Prof. Dr. Ir. Aras Mulyadi DEA when he was the instructor for the Pancasila birthday commemoration ceremony held in the courtyard of the Rectorate Building, Bina Widya Campus, Unri Panam, Friday (1/6). "In this ceremony, we hope that the spirit of nation and state can increase and can be realized in everyday life. I urge all Unri academics to strengthen the foundation of the nation, and feel the beauty of unity, sharing, and achievement to achieve national glory in the future. This is also in line with the theme of Pancasila birthday in 2018, "We are Pancasila: United, Sharing, Achieving"."

Furthermore, the Chancellor conveyed that there are challenges that seek to weaken national unity. Incitement that could sunder the bonds that have united all differences for decades could potentially arise if we do not understand the values of Pancasila. "In this era, the Indonesian people are required not to waste time on useless activities, so that we can all as a nation catch up with other nations. The current momentum demands that we stop wasting energy on conflict and focus more on achieving success in education, creativity, innovation, and the development of the Indonesian people."

This requires creativity and innovation to prevent a crippling national awareness of the values that underpin our shared foundation," explained the Professor of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
