The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the University of Ursula (UR) International Relations Department Invites the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Visit

www.unri.ac.id – Efforts to increase economic, financial and development cooperation between the Republic of Indonesia (RI) and the Middle East were the issues discussed by the speakers at the National Seminar of the Department of International Relations at the Sutan Balia Building, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau (FISIP UR), Thursday (28/5).

The seminar, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Asia, Pacific, and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemlu-RI), was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Thamrin, MSc., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UR. In his remarks, Thamrin urged seminar participants to seize the opportunity.

"Take this opportunity to gain extraordinary knowledge from the speakers. This opportunity won't come around twice, so make the most of it and gain knowledge," said Thamrin.

On this occasion, the speakers were Drs M Saeri MHum, as an academic from the Department of International Relations, FISIP UR and Drs Tjoki Aprianda Siregar MA, Head of the Sub-Directorate of Economics, Finance and Development of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate of the Middle East, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

In his material, Tjoki Aprianda Siregar, said that the Middle East has unique characteristics, such as pressure or pressure "Domestic politics and Middle Eastern politics, as well as religious-oriented relations," he said.
