Secretary of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UNRI Assoc Prof Dr Emilda Firdaus SH MH, opened the Socialization and Technical Guidance (Bimtek) event for the Electronic-Based Government System Data Census (SPBE) with the Siak Regency Government (Pemkab) for Independent Learning Community Service Program (Kukerta-MBKM) students, Tuesday (12/9/2023) at the Balairung Hall of the Pangeran Hotel, Pekanbaru.
A total of 300 students participated in the 2023 MBKM (Indonesian Community Service) Kukerta group, which will be held in eight sub-districts of Siak Regency. The MBKM Kukerta program is a study program primarily focused on course conversion. The MBKM Kukerta program is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud Ristek RI).
Emilda stated that 300 students participated in the 2023 MBKM Kukerta group. This activity is part of a series of UNRI Kukerta programs held in Siak Regency. "On September 14, 2023, participants will come directly to the Kukerta location," she said.
This activity is also part of a program developed by LPPM UNRI and the Siak Regency Government for the MBKM Kukerta program, in addition to the 20 credits of courses already converted. This year, UNRI is collaborating with the Siak Regency Government on the MBKM Kukerta Program for the Siak Regency Electronic-Based Government System Data Census (SPBE).
"Students are expected to be able to provide solutions for continuous change and improvement to address various problems in the region. I hope that the students, through participating in the MBKM Program's Kukerta activities, can develop this village and provide various benefits," he said.
The Head of the Communication and Informatics Office of Siak Regency, Romy Lesmana, said that the Siak Regency Government welcomes the presence of the 2023 UNRI MBKM Kukerta participants, in order to implement the work program and assist the Siak Regency Government in collecting SPBE data in Siak Regency.
"Our goal is to realize clean, effective, and transparent governance, including high-quality and reliable public services. Therefore, to achieve this, the Siak Regency Government needs the cooperation of all parties, especially the students of the MBKM UNRI Kukerta program. This data will be used by all regional government organizations to determine the best policies for the benefit of the Siak Regency community," he explained.
In this Socialization and Technical Guidance, LPPM together with the Siak Regency Government presented a resource person from the Siak Regency Communication and Information Service who explained about SPBE and the use of the KAIT application, and a resource person from the Siak Regency Central Statistics Agency on the Concept and material of the SPBE Census data form, Neny Tri Mahanani, SST., M.Ec.Dev.
