UnriNewsThe number of research and community service grant proposals for lecturers at the University of Riau (UNRI) funded by the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) has increased compared to the previous year.
In 2023, the number of DRTPM research and community service grant proposals funded was 67 research titles and 4 community service titles. In 2024, this number increased to 122 research titles and 16 community service titles.
UNRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti SE MSi said that this increase is one of the efforts to encourage and facilitate lecturers in carrying out research activities with the State University Operational Assistance (BOPTN) budget.
"With this increase, we hope that the research and community service conducted by UNRI lecturers can support the increase in the quantity and quality of higher education research and innovation, which can provide solutions to various societal problems.
