The Master of Law Study Program of the Postgraduate Program of the University of Riau was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 201/E/O/2013 concerning the permit for the implementation of the Master of Law Study Program dated May 21, 2013 which has been declared to meet the minimum accreditation requirements.
As a graduate/alumni from MH UNRI, he has very good prospects in his field, among others, as Academics, Practitioners and Community Activists. As for the explanation of an academic in the field of law, namely a graduate of a master of law who has expertise in research in the field of law and plays a role in education as lecturers/other educators, research and community service. Furthermore, MH UII graduates as practitioners are intended graduates who have expertise in the field of the legal profession, such as judges, prosecutors, lawyers/legal consultants, or legal officers. Meanwhile, graduates of MH UNRI as Community Activists themselves mean masters of law graduates who are able to initiate and play an active role in community services in the field of law for the benefit of religion, social, culture and/or the rights of the general public.
Indonesian citizens or foreigners who have permission from the authorities.
Foreigners must have a residence permit (visa) which is managed through the Rectorate Office of the Islamic University of Indonesia.
Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the Legal Studies Program.
Non-law S1 graduates are required to attend Matriculation Lectures.
Photocopy of diploma/Graduation Certificate and S1 academic transcript that has been legalized.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Prospective students who have achievements at the national level will be considered specifically.
Academic recommendation of 2 (two) people from lecturers with doctoral degrees and/or their superiors.
The thesis writing plan (title, background, and problem formulation to be researched).
Curriculum vitae (curriculum vitae).
Photo size 4×6, 3×4, 2×3, 2 pieces each.
Photocopy of personal identity card (KTP/SIM/Passport).
Have a minimum TOEFL certificate of 450 (which is still valid) or pass the English language test organized by the UII Language Institute (Cilacs).
Have a TPA Certificate of at least 500 (which is still valid) or pass the TPA test organized by UII.
For the registration fee of Rp. 500,000,-
Registration Procedure
Write down the registration procedure that must be done by prospective students to enroll in this educational program.
The entire series of entrance tests is carried out at the Postgraduate Program, Faculty of Law UII Jl. Ms. Ditiro No. 1 Yogyakarta.
Registration
Registration for Master Program (S2) in Law is opened 2 times in 1 year, namely Odd Semester (September class) and Even Semester (March class).
Each implementation of new student registration and entrance tests is divided into 2 waves: Wave I and Wave II.
Implementation of special entrance tests for scholarships in accordance with applicable regulations.
Registration Procedure
Prospective participants fill out the registration form provided by the program, and attach the registration file.
Prospective students can also send registration forms and files via email, but registration files are still submitted/sent to the Program.
Pay the registration fee that has been determined through the bank.
Prospective students who have registered will receive a Participant Identity Card which is equipped with a photo and must be brought when the entrance test is carried out.
