www.unri.ac.id – Universitas Riau (UR) dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Nias Utara melakukan Penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman (MoU), Sabtu (17/1) di Ruang Senat UR. MoU ini dalam rangka kerjasama saling menunjang pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi kedua belah pihak.
“Selamat datang kepada Bapak Bupati dan Ketua DPRD Nias Utara beserta rombongan. Dengan MoU ini, semoga kerjasama ini dapat kita laksanakan sesuai dengan apa yang akan kita rancangkan. Sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan, kita (UR, Red) berupaya akan membantu dalam pembangunan, khususnya bidang pendidikan di Kabupaten Nias Utara,” jelas Rektor UR saat memberikan sambutan.
Sementara Bupati Kabupaten Nias Utara Drs Eward Zega BSc menyebutkan bahwa Nias memiliki Sumber Daya Manuasia (SDM) sangat rendah bila dibandingkan dengan Provinsi Riau.
“UR adalah Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yang cukup tua dan sangat berpengalaman, sehingga kami ingin mengajak UR untuk bekerjasama mengembangkan pendidikan di Nias. Diharapkan dengan MoU ini, SDM di Nias kedepannya bisa meningkat dan fungsi UR untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa juga tercapai,” harap Eward.
MoU ini ditandatangani oleh Rektor Universitas Riau Prof Dr Ir Aras Mulyadi DEA dan Bupati Kabupaten Nias Utara Drs Eward Zega BSc. University of Riau (UR) and the Government of North Nias do Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Saturday (17/1) in the Senate Chamber of UR. This MoU mutual cooperation in order to support the implementation of the tasks and functions of both parties.
“Welcome to the Regent and the Chairman of the Parliament of North Nias and his entourage. With this MoU, we hope this cooperation can be carried out in accordance with what we are going to has designed. As the Institute of Education, we (UR, Red) will attempt to assist in the development, especially education in North Nias, “said Rector UR while giving a speech.
While Head of North Nias Regent Drs Eward Zega BSc mention that Nias has low Human Resources (HR) if compared with the Riau Province.
“UR is quite old and very experienced, so we would like to invite UR to work together to develop education in Nias. It is expected with this MoU, the HR in Nias future could rise and UR functions to the intellectual life of the nation is also achieved, “please Eward.
The MoU was signed by the Rector of the University of Riau Prof Dr Ir Aras Mulyadi DEA and Head of North Nias Regent Drs Eward Zega BSc.
